Estate Cottage

Situated in a square of former workers properties Estate Cottage is a two storey cottage with accomodation consisting of kitchen, sitting room, twin bedroom and shower room on the ground floor with a double bedroom and bathroom on the first floor.

Enjoying beautiful views across the fields, the cosy sitting room with log fire is packed with books,jigsaws, games and a few DVDs should you wish a day at home.

The kitchen is fully fitted with dishwasher, fridge, microwave and an electric cooker. There is also an automatic washing machine and tumble drier.

Heating is by an oil fired boiler which provides hot water as well as the central heating for the cottage.

There is an enclosed garden with picnic bench, patio and grassed area.

Dogs are welcome in Estate Cottage but we ask that they do not go on any furniture! You will find Bonios in the cottage when you arrive.

All fuel and electricity are included in the rent as are all towels and bed linen.

A welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk and fruit as well as locally produced cheese is provided for you until you are able to get to Wooler, only six miles away, where there are supermarkets and shops.

Should you wish a day at home then the cottages have a flat screen colour TV with Freeview, a DVD player (with some DVDs provided), a mini Hi-Fi with CD player, books, magazines and games.

There is also a selection of guides and leaflets to attractions and events in the area as well as 1:25000 scale maps which have footpaths marked on.
